At the opening ceremony of Longsheng New Energy's Swap-In Ecosystem Showroom in North Kai Tak, Hong Kong, the world's first right-hand drive swappable new energy taxi, the Hongqi E-QM5, made its official debut, propelling Hong Kong's public transport electrification into a new phase.

Centered on CATL's chocolate swap-in battery technology, this cooperation precisely addresses the core pain points of Hong Kong's taxi industry. In response to the demands for driving range and energy supplement efficiency, the right-hand drive version of the Hongqi E-QM5 is equipped with this swap-in technology, enabling energy replenishment in just 99 seconds. Its 56kWh battery pack can achieve a CLTC driving range of 500km, fully meeting the operational needs of Hong Kong's entire urban scenario.
