GAC AION has officially announced that its all-new model, codenamed S52, will make its debut on July 28. It will be the first model to bear AION’s new brand logo, serving as the core product carrying the brand’s renewal. Officials revealed the model is the first offering in an all-new vehicle line, jointly defined end-to-end with a new partner, and positioned as "the first premium all-electric car for young buyers".

Full specifications have not yet been released, apart from confirmation of a younger, more stylish design language and groundbreaking new technologies. AION’s strategy is clear: with a new logo and all-new product line, it aims to penetrate the younger, more entry-level market and lower the brand’s access threshold. As competition in the 100,000-yuan all-electric segment intensifies, launching a brand-new product line is a key move for AION to consolidate its market share.
