Sources confirm that the smart #2 will officially go on sale in mid-November. Before that, the model will make its global premiere at the Paris Motor Show on October 12. As the successor to smart’s classic fortwo model, the smart #2 is built on the self-developed ECA compact pure electric architecture, remaining positioned as a micro battery electric vehicle and carrying forward the brand’s signature strengths in urban commuting and agile maneuverability.

Its exterior carries forward smart’s post-electrification design language. The front headlamps take an irregular shape with built-in LED daytime running lights; the front bumper features large air intakes, the grille has a capsule-pore design, and vertical air vents sit on both sides, creating an agile, futuristic look. The model retains the classic two-door, two-seat layout, paired with two-tone bodywork and conventional door handles. Wheel options include 15-inch and 16-inch designs to suit different tastes.
