On September 1, BYD published its August sales results. In August, BYD Group sold 440,293 vehicles in total, including 433,384 passenger vehicles. Overseas sales of passenger vehicles and pickups reached 188,746 units, maintaining strong export momentum. To date, BYD’s cumulative new energy vehicle sales have exceeded 17.8 million units, with its scale advantage continuing to widen.

By channel, Dynasty and Ocean series sold 375,373 units in August, remaining the core sales base. Fangchengbao delivered 41,568 units with steady performance; Denza sold 16,001 units with steady growth; Yangwang moved 442 units. From January to August 2026, BYD Group’s cumulative sales hit 2,668,015 units, with cumulative overseas passenger vehicle and pickup sales totaling 1,157,954 units, progressing smoothly toward its annual target.
