Bentley’s First EV Turkal Unveiled Globally, Starting at 1.988 Million RMB in China
On September 24, Bentley’s brand‑new Turkal made its world premiere in London, UK. It becomes Bentley’s fourth model line following the Continental GT, Flying Spur and Bentayga. It is also Bentley’s very first all‑electric vehicle and debuts the brand’s revamped winged emblem. Three trims, namely Turkal, Turkal S Luminous Edition and Turkal S Nightfall Edition, are introduced to the Chinese market, with an official starting price of 1,988,000 RMB (excluding taxes and optional extras).

Power comes from dual permanent‑magnet synchronous motors, both fitted with dry‑sump lubrication. The front motor uses an open differential, while the rear motor incorporates a locking differential and multi‑plate clutches on each output shaft. The standard Turkal delivers 821 horsepower and 1,194 N·m of torque, sprinting from 0‑100 km/h in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h. Representing the luxury icon’s electric transition, Turkal carries the mission of inheriting Bentley’s performance legacy in the electric‑vehicle era.
