BMW’s New iX3 Performance Variant to Enter Production March 2027
BMW has announced that the M Performance variant of the new-generation iX3, the iX3 M60 xDrive (NA5), will officially enter production in March 2027, and its performance figures are nothing short of explosive. It will be powered by a dual-motor system delivering a maximum power of 620-630hp, nearly matching the output of the current X5 M Competition. This effectively brings top-tier M performance to the smaller X3 platform, promising an exhilarating driving experience.

Beyond its blistering power, the iX3 M60 xDrive will feature an 800V high-voltage platform, drastically improving charging efficiency—adding 300km of range in just 10 minutes, eliminating range anxiety for pure electric performance cars. The model will also come equipped with M-specific adaptive suspension, further refining chassis tuning to deliver the purest M-series handling characteristics while maintaining everyday comfort.
