On April 8, Chery Automobile officially opened its European Operations Center and simultaneously launched the Chery Spain R&D Institute, marking the establishment of its first overseas regional operations center. The center will serve as the central platform for Chery’s European business, integrating operations, compliance, supply chain coordination, finance and public affairs functions to further improve the brand’s localized layout and operational efficiency in Europe.

Chery has delivered impressive results in the European market in recent years, currently operating in 18 European countries and serving over 100,000 customers. In the first two months of 2026, Chery sold 39,000 vehicles in the UK and EU markets, a year-on-year increase of 200%, with new energy vehicle exports reaching 11,500 units, up 250% year-on-year. Its OMODA & JAECOO brands have sold over 40,000 vehicles in Spain since entering the market in 2024.
