Great Wall Motor recently announced the official launch of the Tank 500 in Pakistan, marking the 5th anniversary of the brand’s entry into the Pakistani market. As of March 2026, Great Wall Motor’s cumulative sales in Pakistan have exceeded 30,000 units, among which the Tank 500 has received nearly 5,000 orders since pre-sales started in January this year, gaining a warm market response. As the first high-end mid-to-large SUV produced via CKD in Pakistan’s automotive industry history, the localized assembly of the Tank 500 marks a major breakthrough in the local automotive manufacturing capacity.

In terms of product strength, the Tank 500 is equipped with the Hi4-T system dedicated to off-road scenarios. The PHEV version has a pure electric range of 120 kilometers and a combined range of 950 kilometers, supporting 24-minute fast charging and 6kW V2L function. The body adopts a non-load-bearing structure, with the battery pack mounted on the frame and equipped with three-level protection. Paired with intelligent four-wheel drive and front, center and rear differential locks, the wheel-end torque can be amplified to 24,000 N·m, easily coping with various complex off-road conditions.
