AITO Releases May Day Travel Report, Total Mileage Hits 430M Km
AITO Auto has officially released its 2026 May Day travel report. Data shows that between May 1 and May 5, 2026, the total driving mileage of AITO’s intelligent range-extended electric models reached 430 million kilometers. Of this, 290 million kilometers were driven on electric power, accounting for as much as 67.7% of the total, equivalent to a 72,000-tonne reduction in carbon emissions, or planting 6.39 million trees. During the holiday period, as many as 91,369 AITO vehicles completed a single trip of over 1000 km, clearly showing users’ high willingness to take long-distance trips in their AITO vehicles.

In terms of intelligent driving, AITO vehicles recorded a total of 170 million kilometers driven with driver assistance during the May Day holiday, accounting for 46.9% of the total mileage. There were 667,000 active users of the driver assistance system, and over 281,000 vehicles had more than 50% of their mileage covered by driver assistance, an increase of 10% compared to last year. On the safety front, the intelligent driving system proactively avoided 40,000 potential collisions during the holiday, triggered the eAES system 103 times, and issued 53,000 accidental acceleration alerts, 34.48 million fatigue and distraction alerts, and 1.471 million incorrect gear shift alerts, truly providing a safety net for users’ travel.
