At this year’s Nürburgring 24 Hours race, Volkswagen introduced the all-new pure electric ID. Polo GTI—the first Volkswagen model to bear the iconic GTI badge as an electric vehicle. It is powered by a front-mounted electric motor with a maximum output of 226 horsepower, accelerating from 0-100km/h in just 6.8 seconds and delivering a WLTP range of 424 kilometers, balancing performance and daily practicality.

Built on the MEB Entry pure electric platform, the new car supports 105kW DC fast charging, which can replenish the battery from 10% to 80% in 24 minutes. Additionally, Volkswagen has equipped it as standard with an electronic limited-slip differential and DCC adaptive chassis, further enhancing handling and driving pleasure to the GTI series’ sporting DNA.
