BYD Unveils China\'s First 4nm AD Chip Xuanji A3, Supports L3/L4
At its latest intelligent strategy conference, BYD unveiled a major technological achievement: China's first 4nm process autonomous driving chip Xuanji A3, which supports Level 3/Level 4 autonomous driving, raising the level of domestic AD chips to a new height. This means BYD has completely achieved independent control over the core hardware of intelligent driving, no longer relying on overseas suppliers.

In addition to the chip release, BYD also made a solid commitment to AD safety. Following the safety guarantee for intelligent parking, BYD again announced a 1-year safety guarantee for urban navigation. Within one year from now, new users of Tianzhi Eye A and B will enjoy 1-year urban navigation guarantee upon delivery, and existing owners will receive the same benefit after OTA upgrade to Tianzhi Eye 5.0. Meanwhile, all BYD models can be equipped with the Tianzhi Eye B laser-assisted driving version, and Tianzhi Eye C models can be upgraded for only 12,000 yuan, significantly lowering the threshold for high-level AD.
